Meet Your Team

 Meet Matt

Matt had the benefit of being raised with a strong work ethic and the realization of the importance of developing strong relationships. These values have become the foundation of his client philosophy.

After graduation from the University of Michigan, Matt had the opportunity to gain valuable insights in a variety of environments, from running his own freelance photography business to working with both small businesses and large corporations in sales and business development. These experiences shaped his understanding of the opportunities and challenges business owners, professionals, and retirees face as they navigate their lives.

In the financial services profession, Matt saw the opportunity to be able to help these people to make a positive difference in people’s lives by helping them pursue their financial, create a legacy for their lives and address the financial concerns they face. Matt began his financial services with UBS, where he completed their Wealth Management Education Program. In 2009, the firm transitioned to Stifel Nicolaus.

Yet, as our lives became more complex and uncertain, Matt found that, in addition to managing their investments in these volatile markets, people were looking for guidance in navigating all aspects of their financial concerns. With that in mind, he started DiFrancesco Financial Concierge, LLC d/b/a DiFrancesco Virtual Family Office which focuses on the unique situations that face business owners, professionals, and retirees who have neither the time, the interest or the expertise to manage all of their financial affairs. His clients value the guidance of an outside professional so that they can focus on the things that are most important to them, like their families, businesses and careers. His intent is not only to help them to pursue the goals that they want to accomplish, but also to identify the problems and challenges they may face. By gaining an understanding of a client’s unique situation, Matt can help them develop customized strategies to pursue their goals.

In addition, Matt also understands the importance of giving back to his community. He has served President of the Cambria-Somerset Counties Estate Planning Council and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Johnstown YMCA. Currently, Matt serves as Finance Chairman for the Board of Trustees of the Independent Catholic Foundation. He is also actively involved with Laurel Highland’s Council of the Boy Scouts, and Our Mother of Sorrows Parish.

Matt resides in Johnstown, PA with his wife, Anne, and four boys who keep him busy running to athletic events, Scouts, and academic functions.
